Rock and roll in its early days is remembered mainly by two big names - Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly. But other, no less important, musicians were active then, among them or perhaps even more important, Bill Haley. In fact, Bill Haley recorded Rock Around the Clock, the great rock and roll hit, as early as in 1952, practically changing the course of popular music from that point on.
